Hehehe. Hey buddy, I was about to email you. Hadn't seen a post of yours in awhile. What a terrible season for the NBA.....

I kinda loss interst in the NBA... seems its more or less a pansy league nowadays.
Back in the day, Mahorn, Laimbeer, Barkley, Oakley etc These guys played hard.

Nowadays they probably foul out in the first 5 minutes.

Another pistons lead blown, which looks like leads to a L, team is a joke. Can someone please fire Joe Dumars and take Maurice cheeks with him

Pierce and KG return to the Garden for the first time since the trade. Nets vs. Celtics- 6:30pm ET on ESPN

Thanks for the memories guys (and helping raise banner #17 to the rafters).

Globetrotters rookie Thunder Law today smashed the official Guinness World Records® record for the longest basketball shot -- connecting from 109 feet 9 inches, besting the old mark of 104 feet 7 inches, set nearly three years ago.

Not impressed! I remember seeing Jordan shoot the ball from across the street for Bird's big mac once...
and 'nothing but net' ! ;)

Cheers, K

no drama.......... not as fun without it.

Well some of you may remember when I said this was going to be the most difficult season yet for the Heat. Having to do a 4th straight trip to the finals is nothing easy and if you want to knock out the Heat, this year is the time to do it especially for the Pacers. This thing with Wade ain't going away either so do it, DO IT NOW. I see them again in the conference Finals but after that don't know.

I ma not worried Rey. They have had alot of guys injured missing multiple games here and there...which has throw off the defensive rotations Spo needs to be more successful. If you have noticed, ALL their issues have been on the defensive side. The few offensive issues they have had have been Ray Allen's shooting.

Last night, they were WAY too careless with the ball. Trying to put on a show instead of executing the offense....like they did in the first few minutes of the first quarter.

I'm not really worried either especially about regular season games. It's the Pacers who have something to prove since the Heat are back to back champions but I'm mentally prepared that they will fall this year. As you mentioned they're having defense issues so figure that out and we'll be fine.

He is the good news about the playoffs. LAST NIGHT, was the first time all season that there were no injuries. Oden is injury free, just out of shape. Come playoff time, he will be ready, healthy and in shape.

The Portland Trail Blazers have a starter,I don't know his name, who the announcer said had already suffered a broken foot or two while playing for the Trail Blazers. My only reaction was,"Imagine that."

One game doesn't mean that the landscape has changed between the Heat and the Thunder. But I think that OKC finally benching Perkins and going small is the right approach to playing the Heat.

The best part of last night's game was toward the end of the 3rd quarter, when Durant and James went all playground bball.

Could the Heat still win a championship this year? Absolutely. When you have the best player you always have a chance. Plus they are championship tested.

Would I count on anything from Gregg Oden? Absolutely not. He's a season ending injury waiting to happen. He could blow out a knee applying a band aid to his toe.
