Hello Guys.

I've just purchased a WS 6908 version 2.4 satellite finder, with satellites list for ASIA, but that's not my problem, I was able to manually change them,
my problem is that the setup screen will allow me to change the time zone, but not my longitude nor my latitude, any suggestions??
Every thing else seems to be fine, but I have yet to test it hooked up to the LNB
Thanks.

Thanks for the file.
I put it on a USB stick (multiples), turned unit on, went to menu/tools/software upgrade
I tried every combination of p2p/p2m & allcode/logo/program list.
I get:
Checking serial port/connection time out retry > to infinity.
What am I doing wrong?

If using the loader it wants a .bin file.
What would I use for a .ssu file?

Hi joe!u seem like expert and famous on satlink finder, well I'm Eric from asian Malaysia and i just bought satlink-ws6908.i would like to request your ssu.file for asia satellite, and it come with north satellite list....please send pm thanks...joe.i hope my request won't bother you...

I might be able to help you on this. I have a file with 22 American Sats from 72 (AMC6) tp 125 (AMC21) that you can update using a flash drive in the USB port of the meter. I also have the V2.0 software update but that is not important. Any additional sats you want to input can be done using the CTK DB Tool software as needed. Just use the existing North Am Sats as a guideline for entering any additional.
If you PM me I will send you the .ssu file with the sats.
Joe
Joe,
Can you send me the satellite data list for the SATlink WS-6908. Thanks for the work.

Is anyone else having a "Check header error" while trying to load the .ssu file from a usb stick? I can find the file with the STB but I it continually comes up with this error?

Are you using the.ssu file on a SATlink WS-6908? Perhaps if you change the name of the .ssu file on our usb stick to userdb.ssu and retry to load it.
