BISS codes are OFTEN used for conferences and business meetings. The participants are sent the codes in an e-mail. If you forget how to enter the codes, or you receiver does not handle them, you are out of luck.
The IPTV issue is not something I yet have available to me. Maybe in a few months - the "membership dues" are above and beyond the license to do business fees (MLM business).

From what I've read I think it has the same processor as the Amiko Mini HD SE. Per the description it is the ALI3511 and has 2GB of DDR3 Memory. Looks like it comes with Component output also, which is a must for me.
 
I tried looking over there but the forum wont let me in.

Even tried creating a new login "jvg3" no go... I give up, that place is locked up like FT KNox
 
Hi,

When you register the first time as gardo403 you should have received an e-mail to activate your account. You never did the activation so you wont be able to log in until you do so. This is an usual registration process. When you couldn't log in you try to create a new account as jvg3. The system will see it as a multiple registrant and will lock you. All you need to do is look for the activation e-mail and you will be good to go. Never give up so easy there is always a solution for everything when you find the proper way to ask for help friend!! Good Luck!!
 
A friend of mine bought one from ebay. It looks just like my Diamond 9000HD, the same blue lights on the left side, same USB behind the right flip down cover.

During setup I noticed you cannot scan a single satellite, it wants to scan everything in the list. Also no time zone for USA. Still has keys in the CA menu, not even hidden like the original.
 
Way too hefty price on it in my opinion, around $250 on Amazon. It annoys me that on Amazon they have the reviews of the old one and this new one all together as if they were the same, my review is in there from when I bought the first one for fifty bucks, not no $250. It makes it look like a lot more people bought this new one and gave it good reviews than actually have. I'm going to edit my review on there soon to reflect this.

$243.93. Almost all of those reviews are for the old X2. Pretty sneaky and sh!tty. Overpriced hack box, IMO.
 
Agree, that price is ridiculous. The version II sold for under $60 - if I was going to pay $200+ for a receiver I'd be getting an Amiko A3.
 
Discovered after four years, that changing time to GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) allows the receiver to pickup satellite transmitted time. Whereas the built-in chip-clock doesn't maintain accurate time for more than 24 hours, even with receiver set to never go to standby.

The only problem with THAT, is that many if not all satellites in the arc for us in the USA have different times set. So, your receiver clock is going to change if the sat broadcasted time is different. So, you will never be able to set dvr recordings, and expect them to work. I've had a sat that was an entire YEAR ahead of time, and it wiped out all the recordings setup to record the year "before", which was the year we were actually in...
