Here is my farm:
Dreamresized.jpg

I am dreaming again, time to wake up! below are the real pictures:

gsp90rs.jpg
Geosatpro 90cm/Two SL2PLL's fixed at 97W & 103W
wgrs.jpg
30'' Winegard DS-2078/dms922-10750-Dual Circular fixed
30Wrs.jpg
20'' Converted Pay dish/SL2PLL fixed at 30W
123Wrs.jpg
This one is currently awaiting a new assignment, was 123W.

Since I live i the woods, I cant see the entire sky from one place. Different areas see different parts of the sky. I have a "distributed" farm, spread out. That's also why I don't have any motors. When the BUDs go up there will be one for the western arc and one for the eastern, with a limited view on each arc.
fs6rs.jpg
This 6 footer is waiting on the temp to rise above freezing, pole is already set. I might set it tomorrow.

fs62rs.jpg
UPDATE: Put her on the pole just now.

As for the 10 foot Winegard, the fabricators have finished the fancy slab mounted pole, but I think they have to wait for warmer weather to paint it.

Might as well put this in here, a Channel Master 3020 13 footer.

My little dish farm, 1- 39 incher motorized, 1- 30 incher stationary (for bird hunting).
This is great, seeing all the other folk's setups. Some real nice ones.

Second pic is my "dish" clock, made it last year. Got the movement from Clockit.com and the rest was done in the shop from scrap wood and 1 small round table top bought at Home Depot.

Spring project finished. Re positioned some dishes. Again. Last fall put the 1.2 on the left on 125W, and put the elliptical that was on 125W to 103W that was the 1.2m. Last week, during very nice weather, I added the 30 inch aimed at 121W. BUT, the elliptical just wasn't doing it on 103W,

So --- spun my homemade NPRM around to get the smaller tube on the east.
Final-re-aimed.jpg

inverted 30 on 30W, a 1.2 back on 103W, and the elliptical on 121. Now it WORKS!.
When tuning the inverted 30, the wind whipped up and sleet/rain and snow started.
RETREATED indoors until it passed. Tuned up then decided I didn't want rain/snow accumulating on the holder.
made a shield out of a pop bottle.

I'll probably make a better looking one once the weather straightens up.

Greetings everyone,

I have had a PrimeStar dish with a Fortec LNBF on Galaxy 19 since 2005. My Fortec Lifetime Ultra just bit the dust so I am going to get the
Amiko Mini HD SE this week and re-point the Primestar to another Sat.

In the meantime, I acquired a Prodelin 1.8M Series 1183 dish (my avatar photo) and refurbished it this past weekend.

So now I have two dishes in the farm. I will post a pic of the install when I am done. Thanks to Iceberg and KE4EST
for answering my questions. I used to work at a Satellite Uplink facility in the 90s for a major university and enjoyed
actually having a huge dish farm with a 10m C-band capable of 1000W and 7m Ku-Band capable of 300W.
Thus far, I have...a dish garden...LOL!

Respectfully,
Esquire

Esquire122 Welcome to forum and nice restoration of 1.8m Prodelin dish. You could also post picture of it from behind to see what kind of mount there. And to not turn this thread to just a discussion, there is my last dish installed on balcony. It is Kathrein 75cm, and another one - 60cm laying under it. I simply have not enough space to install every antenna, so I am changing them on by one from time to time :shh

Are you sure it is Prodelin 1.8M Series 1183 dish? I thought 1183 has 8 screws going through it's "face".

Actually, it had a peeling and deteriorated Channel Master logo on the top so it is a ChanneI Master product.
I was told that Prodelin made it for Channel Master and Andrews. When I downloaded the Prodelin Manual
for it, everything matched but I could have been misinformed on the manufacturer.

This Andrew Type 180TX is exactly what I have for the mount, AZ/EL, dish, and LNB support arms,

You are indeed correct that the Prodelin has an 8-bolt mounting. So the question is: Did Andrew make my antenna
or did someone else make it for Andrew and Channel Master (my dish)?
More to follow.

Esquire122 - NICE dish! I'd find room for a 6 footer. (If I could acquire one) and WELCOME to the site!
Is there a molded in 'label' on the back ?
Maybe late in the history of CM, and then Andrew, outsourced the manufacture to Prodelin, Who knows for sure???? (outsourcing was a popular/common trend in those days)
Think that's when attaching the arms to the perimeter of the dish began. Think the Channel Master made dishes, the arms fit into holes molded into the dish face at the edge. (what I think anyway - the only 'style' I've seen 'live')
FYI: (as I know it) Since then Andrew (small dish division) and Raven Antenna have been acquired by Satellite Holdings LLC. dba Skyware Global

Yes...I didn't notice it before but at the top, on the back in the mold plastic, it states:
Channel Master
Part No. 3040711
Mold No. 1.8m-1
Made in the USA
There is still a white sticker next to this "in the mold" label with the numbers "9384" (inspection sticker/mfg date maybe?)
