Hoping you guys can help with an issue. I had 2 hoppers 1 with a sling adapter. I just upgraded to 2 of the newer Hoppers with Sling. Since I upgraded Dish Anywhere works fine on my phone but when I try and connect from my PC it just says "Loading Please Wait" forever when I click on My DVR. I've uninstalled anti-virus, disabled firewall, I can see the hopper when I log into my modem/router. Any thoughts? Other things I've tried is clearing the cache trying IE instead of Chrome, reset everything, putting the Hopper in the DMZ, but nothing seems to help. Thanks!

Are you definitely trying to connect to the one of the new Hoppers? Look at the bottom screen and ensure that you are not trying to connect to an old Hopper. I know when I got my replacement Hopper the old one still showed up and Dish Anywhere was trying to connect to it.

Yep the new DVRs and it does have the little green light next to it.

Are you wired or wireless (internet connection.)? Have you checked to see if the Hoppers network settings are in accordance?

Only other idea...have you tried logging out, then back in?

Did that. Even uninstalled/reinstalled the app for Chrome. I don't get it, it shows the receivers being online but can't connect. Guess I'll call dish support when I have a few hours to spare.

Thanks for the help!

You would not believe how often that is missed by phone reps when someone upgrades from an H2K to HWS. My center, I had to educated our frontline reps that just because they have had a hopper installation, they did not have this particular receiver. It's the same for replacement receivers. When I was taking calls, it was enough to drive me insane. I loved researching my job, because it made my job easier. That obsession I have is not necessary, but definitely need more care from most employees.

So check back in a couple of days. Gee, I wish you had said they were just installed!;)

To be fair, although not explicit, he did say he just upgraded to the HWS. lol. I always assume that it was just upgraded though(if you can't tell by my history) because of working with the agents a couple years ago.

Explicit always helps.:biggrin

Sorry if I'm thread hijacking, but I am having the same issues. I had a HWS installed with 1 Joey as well. The first two weeks of the install everything worked fine. I did have to have Dish come out to readjust my dish (and more recently switch me from EA to WA, and nothing still is working). Dish says that it is a known issue, but I haven't seen many people complaining about it. Do I need to have my equipment replaced? My Joey is already sluggish as it is, so that at least is getting replaced.
