Still waiting to hear from dirt. Though I was number 205 or something like that in the waiting list. So not surprised. Very jealous of all you guys that have had a successful install and are getting to use the new Hopper.

They are up in the 160s. Shouldn't be long. I'm 180. :)

Looks like they are moving faster now and are in the "180s." I suspect that you will get a message soon. Have fun!
 
I am on the Eastern Arc, live in Connecticut and have a Hopper 3... so that is not true. :)

Time to play CSR Roulette. :D

I'm 0 for 3, even tried going through tech support for the last try to figure out the issue. Everything goes through smoothly including taking credit card info until they try to finalize everything and they get a "popup" saying my area can't be done (RI).

JimC, do you have an additional receiver in RV or cabin?
 
I've seen other posts here where there is a system problem with folks that own 211K/Zs. It looks like somebody coded Dish's systems to not accept that configuration with H3. I assume the reason is that of course these receivers will not work "in house" with the Hopper 3. Somebody was short sighted and hopefully Dish will fix the problem shortly.

THIS is correct. I confirmed last night around 7pm, that system would not allow the specialist team to approve an exception for the extra reciever in the RV. Said software glitch. Someone needs to try again today, I have called too many times already!

When I set my install up last night they showed my 211 as having to be returned. I recontacted the chat and confirmed that they showed it as owned and that it would still be active on the account. She assured me that it would remain active. I think I will confirm with DIRT before my Tuesday install however.

The issue is only when you exceed 6 TVs. With my rv reciever, it puts me at 7.
