Greetings Everyone,

I know it has been awhile since I have posted. I just scored these two antennas with gravity roof mounts.

They were abandoned by a local agency and were slated to go to the dumpster. So, I volunteered to take care of that task. ;)
Time to go download the manual and look at the dish specs.

Great find, great dishes.

Sent from a phone, probably while I'm driving over the speed limit through a school zone with construction workers present.

Not in my 'dish farm' but I happened across this while searching Craigslist nation wide.Didn't want to start a new thread.Wonder what it was used for? Sorry pic quality is poor.

This is part of my farm. It's a Wild Blue internet dish with the TX/RX removed and an LNBF substituted for use on 30W.

So, how many reflections until the signal is degraded to a noticeable degree?

There is no signal loss with this design based on a Gregorian sub reflector. In this case, the Gregorian type mount is used to place the tria in a more suitable location, shorten the length of the support arms and reduce the materials needed to support the heavy feedhorn mounting platform.

I was out of town this past weekend and when traveling through Georgia, I saw this dish.
It even has the old FCC registration number to prevent interference from other 4ghz users.
If you only have room for one dish, I guess you would go for this wide arc one.

Respectfully,
Esquire

The balcony farm is pretty crowded. There's barely any room for the dish!
1 bell pepper, 1 tomatillo, 3 different tomatoes, and 4 eggplant. The cat litter buckets serve as a makeshift drip irrigation system (which might be a little TOO drippy, but that's what the cork is for.) The dish is finally set to reliably receive 103W (boresight), 97W, and 91W. Under the table I have an RCA VHFlo/hi/UHF antenna hiding.
