Why is it that i c'ant get LPB feeds until 7 PM while all other stations are coming in strong in day time?
LPB 0 quality daytime and full blast after 7PM.
Tried another 36'' dish and LNB with same result.
MYSTERY TO ME!!!

Thanks BOB....

Coming in fine here as well on a 90cm. Though LPB does go through its spurts of pixel-ation.
This is why I gave up on it a long time ago and have a dish pointed at 125W.

LPB channels usually come in great here (except when they use the frequency for sports). If it's doing this at the same time each day then maybe some form of terrestrial interference?

It has been reported at other sites that LPB's signal, since at least before this last weekend, is wonky. I am seeing the same thing on my 75e, as well as tracking the same fluctuation at https://satsignature.com/

Besides the signal being, in general, lower than several weeks ago, it is also getting a daytime/nighttime fluctuation (could be their uplink dish needs a re-point, among other things!). Since I am using a 75e, which prior to this has worked very well for LPB, and the fact that VE2FCZ is near the northern extent of the same EIRP footprint as I am, would be why some of us see the fluctuation greater than others (in better EIRP footprints), to the point of complete signal loss.

VE2FCZ, you might also want to do a check (at night, obviously) to see if you can add a few points to the signal quality with a minor re-point. Could make a bit of a difference.

I have tried tweaking the dish day and night no with luck.
I was wondering if the dopler shifting of the satellite would be the cause as i am near the end of the footprint.
No way i can get 125W to many trees are in the way.
I can get Create TV and PBS stations on OTA from Vermont so i'm stil in the game.
Thanks again for your help....

When it gets down to 6:30 start monitoring it, and see if it is exactly 7PM on the mark, or some time before.
If say 6:52, write that down and see if it is consistent, the next day and so on.

I also wonder if they turn the power up at 7PM when the news comes on.

After mine started to come back at around 3:30, by 4:25 its strength on the AZBox was around 38-40 (and stable), I did a reading at around 6:40 and it was 42-44, at 10:30 it was 45-46 (still way below what it use to be). I also noticed a similar increase in their other transponder that I get at 11804 H 1250. It started climbing from around 42 (don't think I ever lost the signal) and is now at 53-54. Several other transponders I looked at were always around the same as any previous readings.

I remember years ago it was the Florida Channel that was a tough one to get, which comes in at 74-76 now, and LPB is the "problem child" at 87W!

Today Thursday LPB at 5.00PM breaking up at 90%.
5.30PM breaking up at 50%.
6.00PM pixelating most of the time.
6.30PM back to normal and stable.
Tried this morning at 8.00AM 0 quality and 0 all day.

LPB used to be my 'go to' TP on that satellite. Hasn't been for quite a while now. Maybe more than a year. Don't know what happened to it but I hardly ever get a good enough signal to watch it, if at all.

I am lucky. I get everything on 87 (no pixelation).

Florida Channel 16.1 db
Patient Channel 13.5 db
LPB 11 db
Telemunco 12.7 db
NewsSource 15.2 db

LPB mux is the weakest, and I'm using a 1.2 meter dish, so if your running a smaller dish and not peaked I could see this one causing issues.

My signal levels on LPB have been quite low for the last month or so. I've realigned the dish, switched dish locations to an alternate and switched out LNB's and none made any difference over 2 db. Apparently they have recalculated things and settled on a lower link budget. I don't think the recent flooding would have damaged anything at their uplink but seems they had a photo on FB of it being really close at one time. Well anyway glad this problem is not specific to me :)
