KRDK Fargo/Grand Forks going through major changes this fall

According to KRDK's fb page the station has decided to upgrade to hd on its 4.1 cozi channel. Then they announced they will add bounce. To make room for the new subnetwork and the hd add on they will drop 3 networks off their lineup. Those 3 are Weigel's Movies!, Decades, Heroes&Icons. Early fall look for the changes to be in effect.

They're getting rid of the three I watch most.
good thing is I have 'alternate means' of receiving them.
Can't see the need for HD when all the content, except some commercials, is 4:3 aspect. And the video quality of BEK Prime, which pre-empts COZI from time to time, has video quality of a cheap 150 line webcam, or they're using a VHS, and on SLP whenever I've seen it.

CBS is now KVLY's 11.2 named 'KX4'
KVLY on 11.1 and MeTv on 11.3.

Another thing, after the 'repack' and all channels above 30 are given to the 'mobile' market. Wonder if 4 and 11, which are now on 38 & 44, will return to their former VHF channels?
Woiuld be nice if they stay UHF. Takes a LARGE antenna to get VHF Lo '1 edge' at 60+ miles

According to decades, heroesandiconstv, movies! websites, KRDK has been removed as an affiliate from all 3 networks

Catch this the word is that Weigel dropped the 3 because the market was too small.
