AM21 question (coconut?)

I can't find a match for a .3 RF13 match to get GRIT on 22.3 RF13 for you. There are about 3-4 channels that carry GRIT on .3 RF13, but none of them are in the database.

I saw that, too. That's why I chose WSBT, so the guide is basically blank, just "weather" all the time. I would rather have a single word that is wrong than half hour blocks of wrongness. I am hoping that once all the channels are live that Tribune will fix the incorrect data for WVNY 22-2. They show 22-2 and 44-2 as SD duplicates of the -1, so I am guessing that's why we are still seeing the ABC SD duplicate guide data. At least it's there in the AM21, which is rare for "new" subchannels.

If Bounce launches on WFFF 44-2, I will have correct data since that is another channel that used to be there on the AM21, then they shut it off... I don't see an option to get Escape on 44-3.

You know, DirecTV needs to get their s**t together and better support the AM21 or older receivers with off-air antenna connections. We shouldn't have to "fool" the receivers with different zip codes to get some of the sub channels of the locals. The argument is well, use your TV and an antenna to get them, well that's BS. It maybe a little more work for the installers or customers to setup, but some of those diginets are pretty damn good and having the ability to DVR them along with the satellite programming is a plus. Dish seems to have no problem with people who want OTA for their compatible receiver/DVR, they just have to buy a USB stick for that and can be DVR'd and most have an EPG. I along with other DirecTV subs had to buy an AM21, so what's the difference?. Comcast up here carries all of the local stations sub channels with EPG and DVR capability. It's absolutely ridiculous to purchase an AM21 (if you can get one cheap since they are discontinued) and realize the database is incomplete. Sure their business model is to bring viewers pay satellite programming but how about going that extra step by doing a better job integrating OTA in their receivers. Antenna TV & MeTV have some of those great old shows that I would like to record when not at home and really don't want to buy a Tivo Romeo and have another box to deal with. There are customers who don't want to cord cut and want the local stations diginets along with their MTV.

I would check back every so often on Rabbitears.info. Because, there is quite a bit of movement of some of the diginets and sometimes one will fall inline and match for you. I don't think there is as much movement as previously, but it still doesn't hurt to check every so often.
