For those of you who use our SatelliteGuys app on your Apple Devices a new version has been released and is now available from the Apple Store.

However due to an issue on the Apple side of things we had to submit the program as a new program as it wouldn't let us update the old one. This means you will need to remove the old one (which will stop working in a few days) and install the new one.

You can download the new one from:
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/satelliteguys-mobile/id1155884425

Once you have downloaded an installed the new version it should once again update as usual when a new version is available.

Thanks for your patience!

Deleted old reader app from my 5s and downloaded the new app via the link in the above post. Launched and clicked OK to allow notification push. Now only see the spinning wheel. Rebooted the phone and still does not load the forum.

Using Tapatalk to post... :(

Indeed, just checked the settings and the ads are off for Pub Members / Lifetime Supporters / Founders and Corporate Pub Members.

Of course, the fracking ads hijacks the App before I can log in. I hope you get $100 dollars every time that happens, Scott. It's so wrong when ads are presented on the Login Screen.

After a few tries I got one I could exit and get logged in to the new App. Now to keep the two SatelliteGuys Reader apps straight in iTunes/App Store.

The way it was being done, I would get an email from them that a new build was available, so I would have to log into their website and click on Make New Build. This process would take 3 - 4 days... and most of the time I got an error that there was a problem making my build, so I would have to contact their support wait a few days for them to reply, say its fixed, click on the make build button again and hope it actually builds... Sometimes it did and sometimes it did not.

When it did successfully build I would then have to submit it to the App Stores, on Android it would be available minutes after uploading it, but for iOS it sometimes took p to 5 weeks for Apple to approve it. And there were times Apple rejected it because they said the app was using non approved API's.... since I didn't program it I had to go back to Tapatalk submit a support ticket and start all over again.

Tapatalk offered me a new service where they would do everything... and I was like YEAH! It costs a little less and they do all the work, don't sound bad to me.

I was supposed to be able to transfer control of the app over to them, but unfortunately when we started doing it, we were using a security certificate which was required then by Apple, however a week or so after we started with the App Apple changed the rules so that security certificate was no longer needed. Anyways when trying to transfer the app to them we were unable to because the system was flagged saying we had a security certificate for the app, which was not the case any longer. So they said the second best thing to do was to let them release it as a new name, which is what we did.

Now the only thing I do is they send me an email when there is a new Plugin available for our forum software. When I get that email I download and install the new plugin, and thats all I have to do. They now do the rest. :D

About the only control I have of the app now is I get to control which usergroups don't see ads.... they however control the ads which are from their own ad network.

And thats the story behind that. :D

Is there a way you can try adding an option of 20 posts per page to see if that helps with Tapatalk showing incorrect pages? It looks like tatatalk is looking for 20 posts per page and your lowest is 25 per page.

This is the dish network forum under subscribed. I don't see the hopper forum.
