iOS 11

Battery life is better in this beta.

My battery gets beat on from using Cyclemeter when I am exercising on my bike, so I haven't really noticed much in terms of a problem.
The last two betas I had problems with external apps (like Cyclemeter) connecting to Apple Health to record workouts. That has seemed to go away. that is a plus.

beta 7/public 6 is out. They are on a once-a-week schedule now. Not really anything noticeable in this one. Although when I opened Music my play lists were initially gone. But it had turned off iCloud music library. I turned it back on in settings and order was restored. :)

I found out when using the satellite guys app on my 7 plus I can’t make the keyboard go away so I can add pictures. Kind of an odd bug this late in the betas.

I had to use the Dish Pointer AR App earlier this month and got the dreaded "DP AR Needs to Be Updated/This app will not work with iOS 11" pop-up. Under Settings::General::About::Applications, you can get a list of Apps with Compatibility issues.

I used their website to send a message asking if they were going to update the app. They never responded. Looks like they abandoned the app. Does anyone use a similar app to point your dish that works with IOS11?

I dont know what happened to the author of Dishpointer... he just disappeared one day and I never heard from him again. (We use to be the official support forum for the Dishpointer program) And his website has not been updated in many many years.

I do hope he is ok.

Anyone found any usable software for computers that can at least load HEIF pictures? I expect a major meltdown if the NR defaults to it and there isn't any practical way already in place to view/print/catalog them.

On the other side of the coin, if they don't develop support around the format it will be stillborn and that would be a shame (assuming that Adobe or Apple don't somehow bastardize it and make it their own).
