In bad taste profiteering

I've been doing some reading here and there, gathering knowledge of what and how to do it.

In my reading I came upon this splashy advert that screams bad taste in light of the recent Harvey, Irma and now Jose storms that have left so many people homeless, bereaved of their loved ones and pets, completely shattered. There was a banner at page top here for helping these victims. That's OK as its in good taste.

But to shamelessly put a grinning hurricane in your advert! Won't be doing any business with this flake!

Oh good grief. Shameless profiteering? That is a little strong just because you don't like the graphic. It was on their website and aimed specifically towards radio stations that had their antennas destroyed and might not have the money for brand new commercial setups. And they are hardly 'profiteering' as these are the lowest priced dish antennas by far that you can purchase new. For a station or even individual that might not have insurance and wants to get up and running again this is the most cost effective [read cheapest] option for new hardware.

After reading all the warnings about this guy and shoddy construction I took the plunge early this summer and I am fully satisfied with the quality of the construction and value for the dollar. People are just way too touchy feely today and too easily offended. I purchased from them in the past and if the need arises I will in the future. Happy customer here with no gripes whatsoever.

Their first couple of rounds of dishes were shoddy construction. This is why you read so many negative reviews. They have since changed that.
This year they have taken care of that and beefed up their dishes. Now they carry a descent dish for the money.

I had one of their early 8 foot models and was quite satisfied with it, except for its size. So, early this year I bought a 10 footer from them. The new one is way better constructed than the early model. Would I buy from them again, YES. Would I send a friend or family member to them, YES.

Dollar for Dollar, they represent a good value today.

And look up the definition of profiteer. As I recall from another site that used to be affiliated with that one, it was all about profiteering privateers. LOL!

I know that people do profiteer during hurricanes at the expense of those that have no choice and that is always illegal. Selling gas for $10 a gallon or a case of bottled water for $30 would come to mind. Advertising your product to people that might need it at the same cost or less to me is the same as a store advertising that they have a special large shipment of dimensional lumber or asphalt shingles that came in during a time of great demand for those that need it. As long as they aren't charging exorbitant prices taking advantage of the situation I'm fine with it personally.
