Its just an online streaming service now. It officially shutdown as an over the air channel last year...
Actually not failed or misleading there are a number of tv stations carrying Cool TV as a digital sub channel now.
I however don’t believe that is is being distributed by satellite.

I am on a LPTV broadcast list and a few stations mentioned that they have recently added it or will be adding it next month.
Might also pass it on to Trip. Hopefully KC,other parts of MO/KS/FL. Wichita has it and also like RT channel.
According to another source, a digital subchannel in Wichita, Kansas dropped "TheCoolTV" for "The Walk TV" on July 31, 2017.

I wonder how they manage to choose what content from the 11 genres gets aired.
It is notable that rabbitears indicates that this channel shares with NINE (9) other live channels. That's the largest number of channels I've seen on a single frequency.

I have channels split seven ways that I can't watch for long without getting queasy.
Is The Cool TV back as a subchannel then or not?
If so what kind of videos does it show now? It says it an 'indie' music channel on its website. But didnt it show more mainstream videos when it was on TV before? Does it show '80's at 8' type videos now? (Like mainstream videos?)

TheCoolTV has been off the air since 2017. It's just a website with streaming video now, according to Wikipedia.

I also miss TheCoolTV, but it's time to face facts. It has NO plans of returning to TV.
Ahh, so that explains how Heartland has the rights to Crook & Chase and so many other TNN series shows.
Rabbitears also shows The Cool TV on KCTU. Next time I’m in Wichita I’ll verify. Ironmagz also lives in the area..
I am just about ready to see what I can get and what is available! At least temporarily so....
I've got a 60 mile yagi antenna on the way and will play around with up to 3 or 4 10' pieces of chain-link top rail to see what I can get... If I find this (KCTU) The Cool TV I will surely let everyone know!
I hope to know more by this coming weekend!! It's going to be kind of exciting to play!
