Hello all
After a few years with Directv and a year or so with Time Warner (Spectrum) My wife and I are trying to cut the cord..Also posted a lot when I had FTA..Wish I hadn't had to get rid of it..

When Spectrum's prices were about to go up from the Introductory rates, I cut them off in March 2018..I expected to pay 160-170 a month for all their services..Here's what I have now..(Canton, Ohio)

Spectrum still for Internet-69.99
Hulu Live with on demand no commercials-46.83
NKT-TV (small outfit out of Western Ohio with a few diginets Cozi, Buzzr, GetTV, Comet, etc) 9.95

126.77 including Internet

56.78 minus Internet (which I need anyway)
I might not be saving as much money as some, but I still have all the major networks, some diginets, and a lot of good on-demand shows on Hulu and my local sports networks..Using two Roku Streaming stick plus streaming receivers..Very happy where we are now..

Welcome back!

And welcome to the OTT method of tv. Personally, I have been extremely happy with "cutting the cord", and the options available now to do it.

How are you finding Hulu Live TV? There haven't been too many people here discussing it, beyond a brief trial experience. I've heard about stability issues (buffering, etc.). I know from my experience the on demand Hulu is pretty solid, but how about watching live events, especially sports?

There is some brief freezing on Hulu Live especially on Sports events but I figure thats part of the territory. It would be much worse without having updated Roku receivers. I may look into ways to improve things down the line like WiFi signal extenders..Im generally okay with things now. As you said the on demand is solid. Watching Adam-12, The 1967 Dragnet and Nanny and The Professor in binges..

I would have been happy to delete all references to it on my own if it were possible. I am sorry for any controversy. To me it isnt like other obvious "pirates" that offer like $20 a month for 500 channels. If anything on my end comes up as far as litigation I will drop them immediately. This will be my last word on the subject.

No worries, it look legit to me too. :)

There are a LOT of them out there which look legit and claim to offer 500 channels for $20 a month.

For the providers it is like playing wack a mole. And getting them shut down is a time and labor intensive process.

Sounds like time for a very good, and very selective, virus. I understand the Iranians can vouch that the Israelis are very good at it.
