Between June 14 and June 17, most of the world’s elite golfers will converge on Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on Long Island to take part in the 118th US Open Championship. This year, though, they’ll be joined for the first time by something completely new: a 4K camera crew that’s going to use 5G to send live 4K, high dynamic range streams across the US for viewing by Fox Sports viewers on DirectTV.
