Thanks for the help, everybody. I found 2 used single-tuner GeoSat bullets for $35 shipped. Looking forward to experimenting with the bracket when they arrive.

The bracket and used bullet LNB's arrived today. They are surprisingly small; smaller than I thought they would be. Before I printed a return shipping label on the box, I tried out the units on my 90cm GeoSat Pro. I could get the stronger transponders on 87 and 91, but had difficulty with the DVB-S2 feeds. They are pretty cool little units and a novel idea, but I'm guessing they were designed for a time when the feeds were all DVB-S?

I don't think so, they are pretty reliable little devices. I got just as strong as a signal on these bullets as i did other conventional lnbfs. They lock everything on 125 without issue. "BUT", you have to make sure you are aligned perfectly. I admit it challenged me getting these aligned. It was this Board and the help of others on this site that helped me get it locked in. 87 pbs channels are hard as heck to get in on a 90cm dish with any LNBF. I gave up on a 90cm with 87w and threw up a 1.2m for 87w. But bullets are being used for 125/121, although, now useless on those two combinations, ill be moving them to my other 90cm which is pointed at 97. to do either a 93/97 or 97/101 combination.

Oddly enough, I get LPB just fine on a dedicated 76cm, but couldn’t get it to come in when using the bullets on the 90cm.

What’s on 93?

I suspect you didn't have it lined up right. If you could get 76cm to lock LPBS, I am IMPRESSED. You must be located in a good geographical footprint for 87w. I had the same problems where i wasn't getting comparable quality, but, i finally got it and I had the same exactly quality when i was pointed directly at 125w as where now i am pointed at 123 with both bullets catch the 2 degree offset on both sides.

That’s entirely possible. I didn’t spend a lot of time experimenting with the bracket or the bullets

I’ve had good luck with 76cm dishes. They’ve allowed me to use the 90cm dish for dedicated service on 91, and an offset bracket for 97. I also use the 90cm for 99 sometimes, because only my 90cm can tune Infowars. Just a lot of experimentation to figure out what worked best at this location
