I’m definitely putting the bolt in. It right next to the drive way and I don’t need it to fall on one of the cars. I need to get on my mechanics ass about fixing the mount he’s had for almost 4 months

For those who have painted there dishes how many cans of spray paint did you go through? I bought 3 cans of paint and barely got three of the four back side panels done

I used about 20 cans of the cheap 99 cent Walmart flat back paint. I thought the paint would flake off. Holding up great here in south east.

Yeah, I used well more than 3 on mine. Don't remember the exact number.

I used a can and a brush to paint mine... :)
Guess I should also include "step ladder". I also painted part of it too, but not purposely.

If I were you I wouldn’t even bother painting or cleaning the Dish. Because your old dish was stolen, the scrappers would be all over a fancy “new” dish. If it looked crappy, they would just drive past.

Does anyone know the screw size for the bolts that comes with titanium’s lnb? I’m missing one and figured I can grab something at work to replace it

I’ve seen this automatic polarity controller and wonder if it’s any good.
Automatic Polarity Controller

When I took the dish down it had a Corotor II on it and wouldn’t mind seeing how it performs

Yes, that device does work well, and it's priced about right. Though you can make your own (I did in 1985 with a 555 timer chip, and I still have it. Though mine was used with an old analog receiver), you'd probably spend about the same gathering electronic parts. Unless you had a stash of parts laying around, like most of us, LOL.

So I ordered the automatic polarity controller. Am I right to assume it won’t allow fine tuning of the screw? Is there a certain way I need to install the corotor?

So I was setting up the polarity controller when I found that my servo wires only have red and white no black ground wire. Should I use the bare wire as my ground then?

Is your servo rectangle box or cylinder? Chaparral made some polarotor with cylindrical dc motor instead of servo and it used only 2 wire.
