Netflix Hopper 3 Question

Hopper 3 Netflix app speed is still slow after software version U521 update. Netflix recommends 25 Mbps.
Here is my latest Mbps test results:
Router 326.88
Hopper 214.195
Hopper Netflix app 18.73
TV Netflix app 93.90
Blu-ray player Netflix app 93.79

Are you getting 4K programming on Netflix anyway? I've learned not to pay too much attention to what these receivers, any receivers, have to say about the speed. The bottom line is, if it works don't sweat it....

The issues with the Hopper Netflix app slow speed is that sometimes the Ultra HD 4K category is not there. A reboot brings it back most of the time. Also, sometimes there is interruptions while down streaming a program. The Netflix CSR told me that they recommend 25 Mbps speed for 4K is the issue. We use the TV Netflix app most of the time because it never has any issues. It pisses off the wife because she has to switch to using the TV remote control. Bottom line is, why is the Hopper Netflix speed much slower than the Hopper 3 speed?

I have, sometimes had the need to reboot my Hopper to get the Netflix 4K to work, but then it does. I don't trust the Hopper Netflix speed test or any speed test on it at all. I hardly ever use Netflix on my Hopper, not because of 4K issues but because I don't get 5.1 through my AVR, stereo only. I get around those multiple remote issues, and I have a ton of devices, by using a Harmony remote. One remote, one button to activate anything and everything. For example: If I want to watch Hopper programming I press 'Watch Hopper.' If I want to watch apps, including Neflix, on my TV I press 'Watch Vizio. The Harmony will turn on, or off, all the equipment that I have programmed into it as needed, change inputs as needed, and allow all the buttons to control the correct devices as needed. My wife, who is not a techie, has no problem using it at all.

Thanks Bobby for the info.

Well that's because to do the 4K Movies on the Netflix app furthermore Netflix only recommends up to 25 Megabits per second to watch 4K Movies on Netflix got it.

Is that speed from the Hopper Netflix app?
Yes, I need to setup a switch and find a way to run Ethernet to my TV and receiver. I d/l via Ethernet at the router 956 Mb/s but my Hopper shows 61 and now 32 on the Netflix App. The Netflix App on my TV is 51 and I didn;t test it on my Firestick - both connected to the 5G Band. Maybe one of these Linksys Veop Mesh systems we're getting soon might be a good idea, too
