North Texas just owned Arkansas at Arkansas.

Including a kick that was not fair caught, walked past the defenders, then ran it for a touch down. Lol

Hurts got more time playing as a backup than he would have gotten as a starter .

Third stringer in, in the third quarter

Heck of a game between tOSU and TCU. Some speed on that field!
Kick Off return for TCU went for a TD ...
TCU actually had thier fastest guy, laying down in the other end of the end zone ... after the kick, he got up and came out to get the lateral from the other returner ... and the play worked great, Buckeyes didn't see him (although the Camera guys did) ... however the lateral clearly went forward by about 3 yards ... so it came back ...
Buckeye Defense stepped up on that series forcing a punt, which was rushed hard and had a bad snap to boot, kicker got a partial kick off, but only made it to the 25 yard line ... Bucks score 2 plays later and that I think was the end of the scoring ...
Buckeyes win 40 - 28 ...
Fun game ... very good back and forth battle all night.

Ohio State's Nick Bosa is out for the Buckeye, no time table for his return.
Bosa was injured in last weekends TCU game ...
Diagnosed with an abdomen issue, he had surgery this week for a Core Muscle injury.

They have plenty of big time players to step in, but Bosa was a step or two better than all the others.
More than likely be a top 3 pick in the NFL draft.
He was having a fabulous game, playing the 1st half.

Justin Verlander (Former Detroit Tiger and current Astros pitcher) had a Core Muscle Injury a few years back with the Tigers and it took 2 years for him to get back to normal.

Now the sports being way different, the recovery time may be way different as well, I don't know.

The School has Not stated that he is done for the year, so, theres some hope.

Bama started out hot, let a&m come back, then pulled away easily.

Is there that much of a divide between bama and Clemson?

I don't think so honestly with the recent history.

However , we do have a qb that could lead stat charts all around if he played more than a half every game.

That's a big difference

Its so nice to have QB that you KNOW can throw the ball well ... and very accurate.

The last few years we had mostly the same recvrs, they were told they were no good ... amazing how good those same recvrs are when the ball is put in a position to catch it.

Some pretty decent games yesterday with some upsets and near upsets.

A little surprised that Oklahoma had their hands so full, but those types of games happen. Even to the best teams .

Kentucky, to the surprise of many, is looking like the second best team in the east, and had a good win over a decent Miss State team .

VA tech once again looked over rated.

Tcu laid an egg against texas.

Ok state got manhandled by tex tech.

Washington had to hold off Arizona State.

The stanford/Oregon game was a really good one.

And at the bottom of the poll, BC went down to Purdue

Should see a fair amount if shuffling in the polls.

Haha, thought this was funny.

I was disappointed with TCU after playing so well against Ohio State and then playing basically uninspired football as far as I am concerned. Maybe they put everything they had into the Buckeye game ... don't know.

Every year, Oklahoma plays Air Force or Army or Navy, and the option offense gives them fits. What the service academies lack in physical size, they make up for in effort and intelligence.

These teams give all teams fits due to the lack of teams that play that style ...

If your a team that happens to play more than option team in a year, you generally do better ... ala Notre Dame. (or at least SHOULD do better)

I tried to post this yesterday, but it came out HUGE, so I passed on it.

Kentucky #17
They went from not being in to #17
They did it for Georgia's benefit. Since their schedule is so bad, (with the dumpster fire that the SEC East is, in addition to their pathetic OOC schedule) they want Georgia to have at least one ranked win within the division.

Yeah that will help out Kentucky when they beat Georgia. ;)
