Looks like 0x1112 is in the stream this morning which is non CE. I actually moved off of 0X1141 (CE) for now for a few issues I was having.

sign up over at Edgecutter Cutting Edge Forums because without registering your not going to be able to see the release notes.
It can take up to 24 hours to repopulate the guide after a reset.
I'm running 1104 and it's laggy for me. If I hit the previous button to switch to another channel, it can sometimes take a minute or longer before the title info screen pops up. I received 1104 in early August so hopefully I get a new update soon that will fix this.
You could try a Clearmybox.
OR wait and see if we get a CE this weekend, seeing its Friday (in a few hours)

if you're watching a show and you push search to search for future episodes it will only search for the same episode that you're already watching..!!
The orange line is gone on recorded shows and you can no longer bookmark your place
What I'd like to know is- I made the unfortunate choice to upgrade last week to an HR 44/500 I knew I'd have to get used to the new interface but seriously??
If I buy an old receiver from Best Buy will they be forced to downgrade me back to an old system I really hate this..
I have an old DVR downstairs with the old format but the search system is screwed up now just like the new one..
Whoever made this new interface should be fired immediately..

to Satelliteguys Kalnory!The post you quoted is a year old, lots has changed in the guide since then. You can't go to Best Buy and get Directv equipment any more.
Since my quoted post, the newest of the new CE software appears to get rid of the "All channels" situation. I am on 1143 software now, but starting just a few weeks ago, when you set up a new timer to record a series, it clearly displays "this channel only" or something to that effect on the screen, which is a nice change. If that bothers you, it will go away.
However, the orange line is gone. There is a lighter gray line in its place if you look closely. Very stupid. The bookmark feature has been gone on the newer receivers for a long time. It seems like such a basic feature but it went away. The search feature that you're talking about is useless - you're right. Why would I only want to search for only that one episode? It's so frustrating. These things will likely never change back. It has been this way for a while now. Now we have this annoying blue line in the guide, too, for no reason. Some seem to like it, but it is annoying me the longer it is there.
