OK, so Dish uses a larger font. Here's from Direct's site:

Sure, small print, but you can't say it's not there.
he could have asked em in chat on the site how much the bill would go up. i can tell you the bill would double after the first year plus box fees ect ect. the dish welcome pack is cheaper even under a flex pay plan with a hopper and a joey!!! i am paying 61.00 a month for the welcome pack with a hopper and joey. not to bad for the amount of t.v. i watch. and it's alot better than fighting with a freaking roku trying to get the apps to work right:confused:.

Think of how many people move and leave the Dish on the roof? Look around at how many dishes you see that you can tell aren't being used anymore
i can see alot of dishes across the street from me on the condo's. the joint looks like a freaking uplink center:eek:. how many of them are not being used i have no idea on that but still LOL. if they were smart they would install an MDU unit and pass the cost onto the residents as i am sure MDU'S are not cheap:rolleyes

My girlfriend has Directv and she's always complaining about the small font on the guide. Also, the DVR one time just erased all her recordings and continually hides many recordings from the standard list. You have to go into manage recordings to search for them. This was corrected once with a system reset but the reset only worked once. I saw lots of very frustrated complaints about this on AT&T forums. Finally, we still don't know how to stop playing a recording except to press exit.

The Dish DVR is far superior.

My parents have the same problem with their DVR hiding recordings on their HR44, but only some, not all, and of course, only my mom's shows, so she thinks my Dad did something.

geeze now i seen it all. i hope it's working out for the poor guy:biggrin

I got a call from Dish today threatening to charge me for my equipment if it's not returned promptly. I would have sent it back last week if Dish had delivered the boxes. So when I got home today, the boxes were there. I wouldn't be surprised if Dish was notified of the delivery today, and that triggered the call. So I had the boxes all packed with the receivers and remotes, and then I turned the instruction sheet for the returns over, and saw that Dish wanted the Solo Node and the LNB back too. Had to get out the ladder, power screwdriver and pliers to disconnect everything. So tomorrow I'll drop the box at UPS, and Dish will just be a memory.

Keep in mind they charge PER label used.

So if you got 2 boxes either find 1 big box, or if they are the same size you can tape them together.

One big box costs dish more money to ship, but charges you less because you only use 1 label.
