I have activated my Wally to a DVR. I was hoping to transfer the programs from the hopper to the USB , to view in the RV later, using the Wally . Will this be possible? We are leaving for warmer climates soon, and I'm not sure I can get the programs recorded on the Wally beforehand .

Hoppers and Wallys format the external hard drives differently so they are not interchangeable.
Ok thanks. If I load on demand programs with the Wally ,will I be able to watch them later, without the internet?
Unlike the Hopper receivers, the Wally streams on-demand content "on the fly." It doesn't download to the HDD. So you'd need an internet connection to watch on-demand programming.
Ok. I thought the programs recorded on the Wally were stored in the external storage device I connected via USB .
They are. It's On Demand content that is not.
