I can't believe they'll do this. I wish NBC would give them a 13 episode renewal even after they canceled it. They would get good press out of it and make Timeless fans happy.

Yeah, but Syfy meddles in their shows and likely would've ruined it...besides, longer episodes and no commercials would've fine by me...

Syfy is too busy cancelling their own critically acclaimed shows.

My point, exactly. They killed Stargate SG-1 at the decade mark, killed Stargate Atlantis at 5 years, only let BSG run 5 seasons, Axed Stargate Universe after what, 2 seasons? Once they killed SciFi Friday, I pretty much gave up tuning to 122..

+ The Expanse (really Syfy, really), Incorporated, Defiance, Dark Matter, probably more I'm forgetting. Some of those shows had a good run. SGU wasn't very popular but I liked it. It didn't appeal to the same crowd as Atlantis.

That's why Timeless is something I really miss...ensemble cast, good overall backstory, good episodes, good acting and humor too. It had a lot of the elements of SG-1...

At least NBC is putting the finale on a good night to watch(Thursday) instead of Friday or Saturday.
