any chance for a new dual tuner ota dongle?

I've got a faulty AirTV module. It wouldn't connect to the channel even though it was showing a strong signal. I went back to the Dish module that I had replaced with the AirTV and that problem went away. Just today I was going to contact AirTV about getting a replacement, it had worked great for about 3 months, but you can only call in, no email address available. I didn't have time to hang around on the phone. I'll do that on Monday. Not sure what their reaction will be to using it with a H3, I'll let you guys know. Depending on the module you are using . . . I know that tuner sensitivity varies greatly. I spent a lot of time and effort to get my signal strength up to tell Dish what they could do with their local channels. Some tuners the signal was fine, other not so. VIZIO tuners suck. I was finally able to get adequate signal to all tuners in a difficult terrestrial situation. Attached is a picture of what it took. I had to split the VHF and UHF because the
the mountains somehow changed the path of the UHF signal (Sock Fairy) so to get both with one antenna you compromised both signals. You can't tell in the picture but there is a 1 to 2 degree difference. VHF is pointed directly at the transmitters, UHF is offset.

This new OTA USB module sounds perfect, but what good is it , if its missing half the guide data? You really need guide data to know what is on and when so you can also record things.
Checking my Omaha DMA many channels are missing and there are some really good channels on them, in the Dot 3 and Dot 4 sub channels (All free).
Anyone know if Dish is adding any more OTA guide data or did they run out of DB space. I see Directv just now started adding guide data slowly DMA by DMA and they fixed their out of Data Base DB issue.
Here is what I get for guide data in Omaha, Linconl NE is also missing some guide data.

Plus with full guide data may what to save $12 and just get locals from the USB OTA tuner, kind of hybrid cord cutting if you will.

Didn't catch that he first time but you said cell phone could be getting interference right; well that's not possible since I don't use a cell phone at home. It's never on or used unless on the road, never leaves truck; don't like them. So guess should have bought the dish ota dongle and not wasted money on the airtv dongle.
 
I guess I just have a different outlook on this issue. With DISH satellite locals, I got six channels ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, CW and PBS for $12. Or..........I can save the $12 and get OTA channels ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and six other sub channels (a couple of which don't have guide data). Sure, it would be great if all the channels had guide data for them, but still for me it's a no-brainer.

For what it's worth, I am not sure how outdated that listing is. For example, in my market (Cleveland, Ohio) it still shows the "LOCAL" slate channel that Dish had put on channel 61 as being Available (although the "A" is color-coded as red, so it probably should have been changed to an "X") but I am no longer seeing a satellite-delivered channel 61. Meanwhile, I do have guide data for the OTA channel 61, but the list in the link does not show that Dish is providing that. Also, based on the few nearby markets that I checked, does anyone know what is up with Dish not providing OTA guide data for stations that are owned or operated by Sinclair?

Are you able to pick up any Tucson stations with that setup?

I've found the tuner in my Vizio TVs to have better sensitivity than the ViP receivers.

In Columbus Ohio Dish has Guide data for WSYX 006-00 (ABC) and WTTE 028-00 (FOX) and both stations are owned by Sinclair. Dish also has Guide data for the OTA channels 006-01 WSYX (ABC), 006-02 (MyTV), and 028-01 WTTE (FOX). It does not have data for 006-03 (Antenna TV), 028-02 (TBD-TV), and 028-03 (Stadium TV). All are owned by Sinclair.

If I rotate the antenna around I can get Tucson. In fact it's probably easier since it's a straight shot, no mountains. I'm on the wrong side of South mountain where the Phoenix transmitter farm is. I have 3 VIZO TVs all had problems picking up VHF 12 before I split the antennas. LG, Hdhomerun tuners had no trouble with it. Dish module was flakey but could pick it up. Complete no show on VIZO.

LTE signals are there even if you don't have a cell phone. They are coming off the cell tower not your phone. Your phone is receiving the signal just like your OTA is receiving the signals. Good for your phone, bad for your OTA :)

It is not accurate for Washington, DC. It makes no mention of the channels we get faulty guide data for (the -01 of any channel engaged in Channel sharing) and we get data fora few additioanl stations like Channel 44 (sharing with WRC)

Note that there are two separate guide data streams for WVFX2 (010-02): one linked to the guide for the satellite-delivered version of that channel, and another separate stream being mapped down from channel 15003. This may in fact be accurate. However, if this is the case, I wonder why Dish is doing this, and how the receiver determines which guide data stream to map to channel 010-02 in the guide?
 
Received my AirTV OTA dual adapter today. Strange thing is. It shipped from Dish network in Colorado, but it also came with a Directv remote. I'm really confused?
