Amazon Prime

When I signed up for AP at $99, now $119 mind you, it included Amazon Video and Music as far as I know ...
I have used the Video, so that works, but when I go to try the Music, it wants I think like $3.99 p/m ... I thought it was free.

I was able to play some music on the Alexa Show, but not everything.

You should get a confirmation email with every order, so you already have it on file.
The issue I've observed (and one that you don't find out about until you check out) is that some of the "you could have it by" quotes aren't anywhere near what you actually get (especially the free overnight items).

I ordered a "free one-day delivery if ordered in the next X hours" item recently. At checkout I was given a two-day delivery and the order didn't actually ship for two days arriving on the third.

I've also seen more "ship in the fewest packages" for the same price offers show up.

When you order something on a Wednesday for delivery to your workplace, you don't want it shipping on Thursday or Friday.

Amazon Music is part of Prime. Music Unlimited is an additional fee and gives more music, you don’t have to get Music Unlimited.

Right you are, and that is what I tried like heck to browse and never could because... I'm on my wife's family account. :( They give family members Prime Video, but they do not give us Prime Music. Why is that I wonder?

Soo...
Can you go to like Amazon Prime and load music to your computer or tablet ?
Or do they only allow playback directly ...

I'm looking for music to put on the tablet for my time on the plane with no internet available (on the plane).

Why would music license fees be insurmountable, whereas video license fees are not?
There are many more songs than movies..sirius adds a 5 dollar or so royality fee to every subscription...streaming destroyed the music industry..now they are getting their pound of flesh from the streamers

Music licensing is worlds different from movie licensing. A major part of that difference is that OTA radio doesn't pay royalties to the performers or the copyright owner (typically the record label). Radio only pays a royalty to the songwriter(s).

Huge fees on the other distribution formats is how the labels and performers grab what royalties they would be due in most any other industry.

Well, after doing some research, I found that its difficult to download Amazon Music to the Desktop (for use with WMP), which I was going to transfer to my tablet.

After playing around long enough, I decided to just see if it would be any different d/ling directly to the Samsung Tab S4 and once I downloaded the AM App to the Tablet, it was very easy, once I figured it out ... The hard part is that some of the music I already had on the Tablet and for some reason, I have 2 copies now ... unfortunately they don't merge.
