Hello DISH Retailer,
We are looking for partners to assist in building out our wireless spectrum with a Multichannel Video and Data Distribution Service (MVDDS). The ideal MVDDS build includes 2 sites – an A-Site (transmit) and a B-Site (receive). Both sites would have equipment similar in size to a DBS antenna. The A-Site would require a network cabinet to be installed in a room that has HVAC to maintain suitable operating conditions for electronics.
In order to determine if you have a suitable location, please complete a survey which contains more details on requirements for each location you have here. Once we receive your completed survey, we will follow up within two to three weeks with an update as to whether or not we can use your location(s) for the MVDDS buildout. Please fill out the survey, regardless if you feel you may have a suitable location, as we may have flexibility on some requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to help build our future together. Thank you for your continued partnership!

Well he was in C-band way before direct TV came to be, first, he was a C-band dealer, then he sold C-band under Huston tracker name oh he was great with names
Ok before Dish's name was out, the satellite for it was up at the 119 location, and he first tried to sell it as multi-level marketing company I kept the paperwork for that one I went with a local guy who owned aTV repair store he asked me to go to the local meeting.
I went I asked them who was going to install them, everyone in the room looked like deer caught in the headlights.
Yes eager to sell, but the work of installing damn that part they did not like, so it never did take off, but Paul went to the big convention he brought back a system and it had dish's name on it, I installed it the next day he came back.
He bought at the convention for the MLM he gave me a phone number to turn it on, they said who are you, and how did you get a system, it took an hour for them to figure how to turn on the smart card
I shot the signal through his storefront glass window when I told them that, it blew their brains
So either I'm the only dealer in CT whoever did one for AmeriStar or the first dealer in CT for Dish network

Come on he had zero people working for him the day he turned on the 119 bird He was so nice to us C-band dealers back then you could make a living yet but he boiled the frog on us small guys even DTV was nice too the second you sold a system the mailed a free one out NO CHARGEBACKS THEN
I remember it being DISH from the very beginning. We were one of the retailers who gave Charlie $1000 to bring to China with him for the Echostar 1 satellite launch. He brought the first systems back with him for everybody who paid the $1000. The rest came in on a boat a while later.
It appears that Ameristar was not Dish... it sold Dish.
