they blow up your phone with offers to:coco. i got a call from a burbank CA number and they wanted me to resubscribe. i was like no i can make usb thumb drives and listen to music that way with no dj's blabbin to bother me:blah and i can listen to what i want to hear and not what you want to play. the the number coming from burbank it was either a scammer or it was a spoofed number since there back east

Being a country fan, my favorite station on Sirius is Prime Country, and I enjoy their weekly retro countdown show called "Prime 30". I usually end up missing the show when it regularly airs, but enjoy catching it during the week while at work via their App or online via OnDemand.

Last week, the Prime 30 episode never appeared OnDemand, and then this week, the whole show was no longer listed as being available anymore. For the heck of it, I emailed Mike Terry, the host of that show and regular DJ on the country channels to ask if they were no longer going to be available OnDemand. (his email was listed on the Prime Country page)

You know, he replied back to me within 10 minutes that he would check on it, and within the hour, the show and two most recent episodes were back up on their website and app! I was pleasantly surprised by the quick turnaround! :D
One of my favorite stations.

Depends on the channel. 80s on 8 has the old MTV VJs as part of the programming. I get short Sirius promos on 40s Junction too.
I listen to Classic Vinyl from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and it has DJ's but they don't bother me.
I listen to those channels as well and they don’t bother me. I like the original 80’s VJ’s from MTV, I grew up watching them. Good time.

while i have never e-mailed a station. i have always gotten great customer service from SXM. to bad ATT won't take the same measures with DTV as customer service can be hit or miss with DTV. that i will agree on with everyone

Regarding audio quality in vehicle radios. It's been my experience that Ford Motor Company radios had the tinny sound since they use the Sirius satellites and GM vehicles seem to have less of the "audio through a hose" sound to where it's acceptable and worth the special rates they offer ($5/mo for 6 months or a year). The audio quality from the streams blows both of the satellite signals out of the water, though.

Since my wife's Buick is receiving SiriusXM I have the app on my phone and if I feel the need to listen to Classic Rewind while in the Escape, as long as I have a decent cell signal, I can do that. Without the Android Auto or CarPlay on my Escape's Infotainment center, though, changing channels is a bit of an issue.
