MotorTrend bought Velocity from Discovery and a year later they've now rebranded it to MotorTrend. Same shows.

It's still on, I've seen it several times in the last week. Their schedule does bounce around quite a bit.

Not exactly. It is part of a joint venture between Discovery and MotorTrend of which Discovery owns more than 2/3. That is correct that it was rebranded.
Fantom works is an excellent show. The should cancel Graveyard Carz. Graveyard Carz could be a good show if Mark would stop the comedy routine. Mark knows Mopar so let's build some beautiful cars.
Just saw an ad on MT about the final episode of FantomWorks, coming on January 30th. They are doing a full day marathon leading up to it.
