Should we go to Team Summit?

Well folks we haven’t gone to CES or Team Summit in a few years as there wasn’t anything for us to cover.

It appears that is about to change as I am hearing DISH will be announcing its new Multichannel Video and Data Distribution Service (MVDDS) at Team Summit in Phoenix, Arizona this May.

I am thinking about going to cover this event for SatelliteGuys, but to do it I will need our members help as I can not currently afford to go.

So I am writing today to see if this is something you guys would be supportive of financially

I am estimating that it will cost somewhere around $1200 to go. This includes flight, transportation,admission, hotel etc.

Please let me know if this is something you would like to support.

There would be a lot more done there then just reporting on stuff.

There is some stuff in the works where face to face meetings with the teams would be needed. I can't say more there yet.

Nope havent set one up yet. Still need to figure out travel. Looks like nothing direct from Hartford to there. Will let me wife work on that one.
