I find it interesting that the link shows that only certain channels from each package will be in free preview, not the entire package:
"Showtime channels 318, 319, 321, and 322 are in free preview February 8-11. EPIX channels 292, 380, and 382 are in free preview February 15-25."

However, the regular Free Preview page on the Dish site does indicate that the entire packages will be in free preview:

It is a channel that is only available On Demand, which requires a monthly subscription. Here is the uplink report from when the free preview started:

bgee posted Showtime Free Preview on 3/16. I got that via the email notification. That post isn't showing up in this thread and Showtime isn't in Free Preview on Dish anyway. Is that preview going on, on DirecTv?

I think that the point is that Dish does not always participate in the free previews advertised by premiums on other services. In this case some service(s) is/are doing a Showtime free preview, but Dish is not.

Is DogTV on preview, or has it been added to AT250, or what? I just noticed it last night.

It is currently in free preview until 4/30. I only know this from flipping on the free preview channel (103 on my system) and it is listed there. Along with Hallmark Drama in HD, which Hallmark Drama isn't in HD.
