[Viewsat] I need your Help

Hello dear community, i live in Cuba and recentrly get an old Viewsat Ultra Lite VS2000 for do FTA but i need to upgrade cause it have many bugs in the firmware. Mostly this one related with the jumping in different menus like channel and TP selection. I have been looking in internet for some updates but that ones that resolve the problem are in this web site preferredbypete com, but unfortunately the have some problems with its captcha and it is impossible to acces the sing up to make a new account, even the help seccion work cause the same issue so I can´t comunicate with them so they can fix the problem.
If in any way enyone tha have an account from this site and want to help me or know how I can reach him please i will be glad.
I apologise in advance if I make some mistake in my writing, english is not my firsth language.

Hello, and I want to thanks to you both jorgeK and KE4EST for you answers. I know that it is and old receiver but I wanna give to it a try since it have some things that i liked. So as i say I live in cuba and this equipment are forbiden and very expensive for anyone. This one Is a gift so as I allways want to get an FTA so get sattelite tv I want to try. Yes jorgeK I have this factory file and apply it to erase all the 3rd party software and the box went to virgin but this comes out all the bugs. It have rebooting menu on the TP selection menu and when I do a blind scan over the 110w with a circular LNB with s70 and q78 it say locked in all tps and not get any channel at the end of the search.
For the rebootinfg issue I know that exist a fix that was from august´s 14 of 2008 and it is on preferredbypete.com site but I can´t reach it because it is captcha down .... and also know that a people that did had the same problem when he did a factiry reset and get the new channel lock in the first scam. Unfortunately for my they does not have and answer for this at that time and never post a solution if he foud it.
For now I am fighting with this box and If I get something I will get you inform.
Also if you know form someone or something that can give me some light please tell me I will be pleased.

Hello folks, last night i get some time and try another sat, maybe was the 110w... this time I went for the 119w, same s70 and q70 and all the TP idem, first they put locked and wen it finished the tp scan it put fail and go to the next tp and so on.... I think that it is not the sat it self cause in the worst case it wil pick up the scrambled channel even if it don´t have FTA. I am correct???
