Installed Pur E2 into an open slot on my Edision OS MIO 4K receiver yesterday. I like the menus and weather integration. Blind scan speed is about the same as OpenPLi and OpenVIX. A North American satellite list will need to be installed. The image can be downloaded here: PurE2 Download

Here are some screenshots of the various menus.

I downloaded that, but haven't installed it as of yet. As for a NA satellite list, you can simply copy the one (satellites.xml) out of /root/etc/enigma2 while booted up with NA SDGr, and save it to your pc desktop. Then boot into Pur E2 (or any other image that needs one) and copy it back to the same place. Then restart enigma2.

What I did was use Filezilla on my PC to transfer the satellites.xml file to the proper folder. Thanks to raydio for supplying the file and correct folder location :)

What are the remote buttons on PurE2 like? Does it send you into a frenzy like it and openpli did on my H7 for me?
Is PIG working? And discounting all the bells and whistles (plugins) how does it behave for a general satellite receiver interface?
My biggest peeve I guess its that E2 and PLI doesn't act like a TV remote when you pick it up.
You know. Minimal learning curve going from openatv and vix to e2.

What's an H7? What's PIG?

This seems to be an oft reoccuring subject of yours on several forums during the past year. I'm going to join the chorus. Different images and skins default to different RCU functions and configurations. The user can select or customize different RCU configurations in any image. The great thing about Enigma2 images, You have control over your experience. There is no right or wrong, just what you prefer...

Have you checked out the remote control menu settings as we talked about on the phone?

OpenVIX: Menu>> User Interface>> Channel Selection and/or Button Setup
TNAP and/or SatDreamGR: Menu>> Setup>> GUI Settings>> User Interface
OpenPLI: Menu>> System>> GUI Settings>> User Interface
PURE2: Menu>> pManager>> RC-Keyboard or Menu>> System>> Customize or Menu>> System>> Channel Selection

Many remote functions are user setting in the customization menu. Example: In TNAP and/or SatDreamGR: Menu>> Setup>> GUI Settings>> User Interface - Enable the Neutrino style Zap control or channel select controlling, Enable/disable zapping with CH+/-, B+/-, P+/-, and many many more settings.
