I think most of the nation is getting ATTRM but not the pro sports on it.

Agreed. I thought a while ago it was a mistake, but Dish has not changed it. The change came in October during the second half of college football season, but if it were a mistake, Dish would have fixed it by now.

Correct. The final bids by Sinclair, MLB, Liberty, and a couple of others are due on April 15, and from my understanding, those are the binding bids. So whomever Disney chooses from those that bid that day will get the RSN's. It would be fascinating if MLB bought the RSN's considering there are NHL and NBA games on the RSNs as well. If Sinclair bought them, you know that they would try to tie in the new Cubs RSN to any new deals Dish signs. But at the same time we know the disputes Dish has had with Sinclair over the years.

My price lock ends tomorrow, live sports are 90% the reason I still stick with satellite. Definitely waiting until this sorts itself out before starting any new contracts with dish, and if I have to, go back to Comcast. Between AT&T and Comcast, Comcast is barely the lesser of two evils. Whoever is in charge over at AT&T, seems to be full throttling that ship straight into a mountain of jagged rocks.

Very interesting if MLB itself buys the RSN's. Curiouser and curiouser!

For reasons that defy understanding my RSN is Rocky Mountain (I'm in eastern PA) but that's not the dumbest part - all games of any kind are blacked out for me so essentially I can watch the Rich Eisen and/or the Dan Patrick shows, that's it. :coco

I’m in Western NY. No MSG, Yes or SNY. My regionals are ATT-PIT (ROOT), ATT-Rocky Mtn and Fox Sports Ohio (Cleveland). No hockey on any of them because we are in the Sabres DMA, no NBA but we do get the Pirates, Indians and Rockies.

Great for baseball (not a Yankees or Mets fan) but not much else.
