If your getting new service, YES get 4K equipment.

If you already have service, I wouldn’t bother.

There is more 4K on Netflix than directv

The C61K is the only way to get 4K. It's wired and AFAIK, works as well as any DVR I've had in the past. The wireless minis, OTOH, can be a bit temperamental.
