Escape while it is noted to be geared more for females according to their statements, shows obviously fictitious drama..but more to the point, one cable channel I've had before that never ran live court trials but is constantly showing shows like "American Justice," etc is very much in line showing clips from actual trials.. Crime & Investigation Network..would be nice to me but figure between Dateline & others OTA is as close to a trial or repeat trials or simiar we can get. Still glad to see it back soon

This is the second time a broadcaster relaunched a former cable TV network as a digital subchannel.

Luken tried to bring cable TV channel TNN (The Nashville Network) back as a digital subchannel (since the channel that once held that name was later called Spike TV, and is now known as The Paramount Network), but lost the rights to use the TNN brand, resulting in that network to rebrand as Heartland, but airing the same programs.

In Court TV's case, Katz broadcasting acquired the rights to the Court TV brand and programs from WarnerMedia's Turner Broadcasting division. The old cable TV network that was once called Court TV is now called TruTV. The new Court TV network will air courtroom trials from the past, as well as live, televised courtroom trials from present day.

Houston gets 2 stations. Atlanta and Nashville Meredith stations so that gives KC a chance on KCTV5 or KSMOTV because both only have one sub channel at moment.

As these contracts are probably negotiated on a station by station basis, it is probably pointless to assume that because one station got a feed that any of the owner's other properties are more or less likely to negotiate carriage.

If and when you get a channel, that will be your sign.

If it's coming to the Meredith station in Nashville, then I'm out of luck. I rarely get WSMV 4 unless conditions are just right since it's weak from my location.

Theirs other top market stations not getting yet. Also on How to Watch page Where to Watch – Court TV have to wait intill November Charter St. Louis and to WDAF 4.3 losing This TV again so maybe either Meredith picks it up/Mediacom because it has 4.3. Also on KS on one shows up and WDAF should show up to.

The reason why they require a zip code, is because a list would get too big with the 200+ media markets the United States has across all 50 states. We also have to factor in some US territories as well. The list of channel locations may be small now, but it'll get bigger soon. Watch for your city to be added as soon as the month of may draws closer...

You can now go on court TV website and put in your zip and it shows which stations in your state that will get the channel when it launches. Several new stations were added like Tegna, Nexstar and Tribune and some market with two of the same Katz networks like WGNO will get court and lose escape, it's on WVUE 8.4 and WKRG will lose Laff for Court, which is on WALA Fox 10. Check the rabbitears updates.

It will be added to Scripps-owned WGBA-TV NBC 26's subchannel line-up in the Green Bay area of Wisconsin. Our city has gotten some great new digital subchannels this year so far, with starting with Gray Television's WBAY-TV ABC 2 getting Heroes & Icons and Start TV. It's impressive what digital TV technology can do when one or more TV stations can carry a multiplex of different subchannels with different kinds of programs...

It is perhaps impressive if you come from Canada where DTV never really caught on, but there's a dark side to the technology where stations carry multiple HD channels or more than six SD channels and it all looks (and sometimes sounds) like a bad dream.

Then there's the observation that all of these channels don't necessarily bring much in the way of variety or fresh content. In many cases, something that was once to die for leaves to make way for something else. The re-branding thing has gone on for too long.
