well the whole idea of the crawl is to get people to complain to directv to keep it at any price
then people bitch about the cost of service.

just get a deal done, forget the crawl, and dont raise my price

From past disputes with DISH it is certainly a positive, maybe they got closer. It could also mean A&E flinched and told Direct they would not take them down yet. Those two scenarios are not necessarily exclusive of each other but could be.
