Agreed! Love the no commercials .. gotta have surround sound so toggling back and forth...
The HD broadcast on 150 looks unusually crisp this evening..
Wish all "HD" was like this ...I'd care less about 4K

It is muted.

I have memory positions setup on my projector and this one looks better when adjusted for HDR.
The commentators dont talk during TV commercials but u should still have the live audio from the event

how about nascar in 4k for the rest of their races this season just a thought and more 4k programming on channel 540-01
I agree more 4k!

But 4k is growing . I'm March there were over 40 LIVE 4k events between NBA, college basketball (big 10 tournament, big east tournament and some of March madness ) EPL Soccer , and MLB .

I don't really see that much of a dramatic difference in 4k. HDR is what I want to see. That is shocking better to me. Wonder when is that going to start to happen! They had it for The Winter Olympics, why not now! :eeek

4K is and will be 'all that'
while full bandwidth provided.

1080i HD was 'all that'
back when full bandwidth was provided.

As 4K becomes more mainstream
Providors will start compressing bandwidth.

And just as 1080i HD has suffered the
'public majority acceptable' bandwidth compression,
4K bandwidth will get compressed to
'public majority acceptable' bandwidth.

Enjoy the full bandwidth while you got it...

There is no overflow for 4K. The second game, and they will only happen in the knockout rounds of the second round, will be HD only.

Is any able to watch today's game via 4k or are you getting blackout/subscription message?

Users on multiple forums state unable to view today's game in 4k (DirecTV and fios )

Today's game is a local fox game not Fs1 game if that matters

I gather the only 4K on Dish is sports. Correct? Maybe a couple movies on demand? No other programming?

Not worth giving up my recording in progress light for.

That is mostly correct. They have had some nature programming like Planet Earth and we had the MTV Awards show.

The first 14 minutes of the Spain versus South Africa match on 540-01 is a black blank screen. The broadcast starts at 9 min 37 seconds in the match. The other 2 games Norway versus Nigeria and Germany versus China played from the beginning.
It appears that Fox Sports had problems with the beginning of the Spain versus South Africa game since Direct TV and FIOS customers all had problems.
