Did they discontinue the mobile DVR? Just replaced a HR 34 with a HR 44 and I do not see anything for setting it up.

Still setting up and running fine on IP clients (i.e., smartphones and tablets) here on my HR54.
Though interesting there is another recent thread on this forum where the OP was having the same problem with the Mobile DVR feature after the new install of an HR44.

On my in home WiFi network. Either way works, streaming or download.
For Out of home, streaming of recorded shows was removed by DIRECTV a month or so ago after years of continued problems with it. And downloading OOH was never allowed.

So, can you download your recorded shows to a tablet and watch them elsewhere ?
Like on the plane ?
Maybe. It was a source of constant irritation for us when we had DirecTV. Sometimes it just worked and sometimes not.
