May 16th somewhere in Nevada.
Once the ~75 lbs of wet snow was removed from the Orbitron, the signal popped back in.These old Orbitron's sure can take some punishment ! (The DX Ku is just fine too.)

When we get snow here in Virginia, I turn my dishes down to 139w and most of the snow will fall out of them, except for that Raydx dish. That thing is a really deep dish and it will collect a bunch of snow that I have to clean out with a broom. We got 11 inches back last winter and I just knew that Raydx was going to get damaged from the extra weight, but, it seems to have survived............... this time.

Got up this am to -2c (28F) frost. Not good for the middle of May. Didn't get that much snow up here either, less than average, but been getting nice spring rains. Garden almost planted, glad nothing is up yet or would have frozen last night!

Snow... yes, I remember the concept. :)
Something we used to deal with before all this global warming thing got going.
(regardless of the cause)
But in May??
When does it start getting hot up there? August?
