Are you willing to call my landlord and ask permission for me to put it in the yard? :D

How soon are you moving again? A dish such as that one is worth storing. That one should be stellar on KU, and good enough for c-band. Those are typically almost as good as a solid spun aluminum dish, but much better looking. I'd love to have it myself, but it's far too far away for me.

Do you know if it break down into smaller parts?

The polar mount and such on the back certainly will break down. I would take LOTS of well-defined photo's before tearing it down. Put removed bolts and nuts back in place on the places they need to be after. If bolts break, take them anyway to match them later.

The dish however appears to be a single piece, though it's hard to tell 100% because of that ditch tree running branches across it's face. It's just possible the dish splits in two pieces. If so, it would have a seam to do so (ask the seller on a phone call?). I however would NOT recommend splitting it at this point if it is a two piece. Unless it's absolutely necessary, and you look it over carefully to make sure it appears it can be bolted back together correctly undamaged.

Looking at the photo of the back side on Craigslist it appears to be a two (2) piecer. CN, you could step around the pieces in your home for a short period of time. Have a friend with a pickup? Shouldn't let it slip away.

As for talking to your Landlord, they can't eat me, it is against the rules. However, you might be asked to leave after the visit. ;-)

Craigslist for Albuquerque has a seller with 2 used chap feedhorns with just Cband lnb. $30 each in my town Rio Rancho. I don't need them for my dishes. Might be good if you need one. I know there are some ABQ metro people here.

Hi All,

Incredible rare find and offer !!!
Owner just wants to get rid of this gem. Move fast if you are interested as it probably wont last long.
Personally...I would scoop it up, if I could.
Located in East Moriches (Long Island), NY

9’ Satellite Dish

John,

If you look on the map at the bottom of the page for that one, it shows it in Kansas, not New York? Not sure where it is really. He's got a typo too, the heading says 9' but in the ad he says 6'.

But, I assume it's a 9' like my RS dish, which, if it is, sombody should absolutely grab it, great dish! If I didn't already have so many dishes, I'd drive to New York for it myself, if it is in NY.

Andy,

As waylew pointed out, it is located in NY, on Long Island.
I noticed that typo also, but don't remember R.S. making a 6 footer.
Thought of you when I saw it listed. I figured you might want to stock up on NOS equipment.
Looking forward to resurrecting my R.S. 9 foot on my KTI mount this summer.

John
