That CM dish is designed for one satellite.
There are 3 western arc satellites needed for full reception from California.
The lnb (microwave antenna) is not included with the CM dish.
Why do you feel you need a dish beyond the spec of those that Dish installs?
Unless your dish is damaged by wind or tree limb the one installed by Dish is sufficient.
If you are having reception problems it is more than likely not the dish its self.
The dish may be out of alignment, it might be the lnb has a problem or the cable is damaged or the receiver has problems.
Dish Network has capabilities to diagnose many problems remotely if your receiver is connected to the internet.
Buying a new dish on a whim is the last thing you should do.

Joseph, you don't seem to get what we are saying:
WHAT are you going to use this dish FOR? Is it for subscription Dish Network connecting to a Dish Network receiver, OR, are you wanting to use it for free FTA satellite channels, connecting it to an FTA satellite receiver?
We MUST know that answer for SURE, or we CANNOT properly answer you! They use different lnbfs.
+primestar31 what I actually mean is the Ku LNB feedhorns parts that go with it, but I'm not sure what I'd use the dish for?
You don't need a dish for anything. Forget it, it won't do you any good if you can't even answer that question. Find something else to fixate on.

Why do you insist on "putting the cart in front of the horse?" There are actually two versions of the Winegard 76cm dish. One has a an arm for old "square mount" DTV, Dish style LNBF. The other has a common linear LNBF holder. There was never a feedhorn designed for this dish. Though you could use a fits-all design. So in order to know how to get there you have to know where you are going. And you don't know or won't say whats up so we can't do much more than be aggravated by your questions. It seems like that's what you are wanting to do anyway.

1. What do you mean buy "My DISH Network Box in the Living Room isn't working"?
Which Dish Network receiver do you have? There should be a receiver name on a label on the back or a name or a number painted on the front.
Does it not power on, does it not show any programs, does it only show a few programs?
Does it display an error message on the screen of your TV.
Is the satellite receiver properly connected to your TV?
Is your TV tuned to the input form the satellite receiver?
2. What makes you think replacing the dish would fix the problem?
Is the dish physically damaged?
Is it still pointed the same direction it always has been?
Are the cables still connected to it?
Have you loosened and re-tightened the cable connections?
3. Except for old equipment, the Dish Network feed horn is different from a DirecTV feed horn and, for the most part are not interchangable.
How many "eyes" does your current feed horn have? For California you should have 2 (for SDTV) or 3 (for HDTV).
Most likely, it is either the receiver (box) that has somehow failed or the feed horn (lnb), not the physical dish itself, unless it is damaged by wind or flying debris.
Both are easily replaced after proper trouble shooting.
A replacement box from Dish will be free, if you buy one somewhere with a feed horn that may or may not work, it may cost more than the $95 Dish Network tech visit.
A replacement lnb from Dish network is free, if you buy one, be sure it is the correct one for your application - the price is around $50.
My recommendation is to bite the bullet and have a Dish Network tech visit.
If you speak to a kindly customer service rep, they might even waive the $95 fee if you have been a long time customer and have a good payment history (no guarantees).

He's been banned on every other satellite forum he's registered on.

He is legit as far as I can tell from private messages. He does however, have a disability that he is over coming.
JosephHolloway1998 I think you need to do some more reading a research on this. Your question has been answered, the dish you are looking at will not help you with your father's DISH account.
If you are wanting it for PBS and over FTA stuff, you will need an LNBF and a proper FTA receiver. If you want DISH Network to work, you will need to figure that out with your father or pay yourself to get a guy out. My guess is he is not paying a monthly fee anymore.
