That much excitement could mean only one thing, one momentous thing: The return of the red recording in progress LED! VIP receiver. There, fixed. ;)

Yes, my Netgear Night hawk router looks like a small alien vessel is in my computer room in the dark. You can see the lights before you ever turn the corner to enter the room in the dark.
My router turns itself upside down and walks around the house at night while we're all sleeping ;)

My router has 4 towers but they have blue colored lights, not red. That router you picture must really extend out wifi signal all over the entire neighborhood.:biggrin
LOL I've never tested the signal strength but compared to my old router I do get enough signal everywhere and no device disconnects

Don't we really need 16 red LEDs, so we know how many recordings are in progress at any given time.
This is especially important when there is an issue that may require a reboot.

...and special sunglasses to be able to see the picture on the TV over the flood of red light emitted by 16 LEDs at full blast. :D

I don't think so but I bet some SatGuy members would love all them there red recording lites! :coco
Nah. You just need a two digit red LED counter on the front of the H3 to display the number of recordings in progress.;)
