That wasn't your first one, was it?We installed a new customer with a Hopper 2 and Joey 2 today and it was dog slow before I added a Snap. Then it was pretty nice.
Ours, too, lately. I did a bunch of snaps in a week, then nothing the last 3 weeksNo. We've had them for a few weeks now. I think that was our third or fourth one. Most of our new customer installs are Hopper 3's.
Only for pre-pay customers, meaning that their credit couldn't qualify them for much else.
Everything is moving to the Hopper family, reducing the number of receivers overall (They still have more they should drop also, but that's a different story)

Any word when will they will be available for the public?Well Dish came through!! Downloaded U717 on to my HWS last night. Just checked our SJ (superjoey) and it is now as fast as the HWS was after installing the SNAP a while back..

Apparently, they're being sold on ebay for around $20 each.
Yeah, your HWS only has 3 tuners. If you are watching something on the Hopper and maybe recording one program you only have one tuner left to watch on 3 Joeys. Hopper 3 will fix that for you!If you have 3 Joeys of any kind linked to a HWS you really need to upgrade to a Hopper 3.
