although most ABC feeds were on C-Band, and several backhauls of ABC programming were on Ku (NYPD Blue, The Practice, Home Improvement, America's Funniest Home Videos, Ellen, The Drew Carey Show, Spin City, Dharma & Greg, Two Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place, Something So Right, Soul Man, Prey, C-16: FBI etc...) mostly on Telstar 4 Ku (formerly T-401) and most on Satcom K2 (although NBC already owns the satellite), which of the ABC affiliates were carried on Ku-Band at the time? aside from what's listed here? (although there weren't any 24/7 affiliates on FSS Ku-Band)
S3R-13: WJLA 7 (ABC - Washington, D.C.), also carried as the PT24 east coast ABC Affiliate until Nov. 1997 (when it was replaced by WKRN 2).
S3R-13L: WFAA 8 (ABC - Dallas-Ft. Worth)
S3R-13U: WCVB 5 (ABC - Boston), also one of the stations carried on Anik E2 (A2).
S3R-14: WPLG 10 (ABC - Miami)
S3R-14L: WLS 7 (ABC - Chicago)
S3R-14U: WSB 2 (ABC - Atlanta), also carried as the east coast ABC affiliate on Primestar (GE2 Ku/W7).
S3R-15L: KABC 7 (ABC - Los Angeles), also carried as the west coast ABC affiliate on Primestar (GE2 Ku/W7).
S3R-15U: WABC 7 (ABC - New York City), also carried as one of the affiliates on DirecTV Puerto Rico.
S3R-16: KNXV 15 (ABC - Phoenix)
S3R-17L: KGO 7 (ABC - San Francisco)
S3R-17U: WTAE 4 (ABC - Pittsburgh)
S3R-18L: KTVX 4 (ABC - Salt Lake City), since the station was owned by Chris-Craft at the time, they also fed their news feeds on GSTAR-4 (R4) as part of the Chris-Craft/United Television news feeds (KCOP Los Angeles, KPTV Oregon, KMSP Minneapolis-St. Paul, WWOR New York, WRBW Orlando (newscast produced by WFTV) and KMOL San Antonio (which was non-UPN, but aired UPN programming during off-net hours after KRRT took the WB affiliation)).
WKRN 2 (ABC - Nashville), via Anik E2 (A2), which Starchoice lease the PT24 East stations from C-Band.
KOMO 4 (ABC - Seattle), via Anik E2 (A2).
KXLY 4 (ABC - Spokane), via Anik E2 (A2).
WXYZ 7 (ABC - Detroit), via Anik E2 (A2).
WKBW 7 (ABC - Buffalo), via Anik E2 (A2).
I wonder what other ABC affiliates they carried in '98? but as with the DEF feeds (Daily Electronic Feeds), most of these affiliates carried their news feeds on "ABC NewsOne" (T7), which also included other ABC O&O's (KTRK Houston, KFSN Fresno, WTVD Raleigh-Durham, WPVI Philadelphia, WJRT Flint & WTVG Toledo).

well as far as I know non-ABC O&O's like KITV Honolulu, KMGH Denver (though the Denver affiliates were limited to C-Band viewers at the time) and WDTN Dayton (now NBC) were one of the affiliates that bought the "NewsOne" services.

This is absolutely not true.
NYPD Blue was fed on Friday mornings at 9am ET on Cband T301. Mostly leitch encrypted as the network commercial feeds were that way at the time. The show was fed on the ABC transponders.
Home Improvement was fed on G4 Cband Sunday's mostly at 7:30am ET on the Buena Vista feed. I didn't watch the other shows that much so I don't remember the others. None were ever fed on Ku. NBC transponders when they were on c or ku were never used for ABC shows.
I already commented on the other stuff in one of the threads floating around.

+Mikel Oh, I understand but what about the ABC affiliates aside from the ones I've mentioned and the "NewsOne" feeds? (although there weren't any 24/7 affiliates on FSS Ku-Band back then)

well other than the NewsOne feeds and the ABC affiliate feeds carried on Ku,
WLS 7 (ABC-CHI), WCVB 5 (ABC-BOS), WJLA 7 (ABC-DC), WABC 7 (ABC-NYC), WSB 2 (ABC-ATL) and WFAA 8 (ABC-DFW) were also carried on Echostar 3 (E3), WMAR 2 (ABC-BAL) was on the same satellite as well.

also speaking of news feeds which Ku-Band was the feeding ground for, ABC affiliates like KSAT San Antonio, WBMA Birmingham and WEHT Evansville (as you can see in their news opens) had satellite newstrucks at the time.

well aside from the affiliates that I've mentioned "NewsOne" provided coverage to more than 200 affiliates, WLOS Asheville, WTNH New Haven, WNEP Scranton, WMTW Portland, Maine, WTEN/Albany, New York as well as the cable-only New England Cable News also provided video feeds on ABC NewsOne. WPVI & WABC's off-air signals could be seen on Mondays during the morning hours.

WCPO Cincinnati, WFTV Orlando & KXTV Sacramento also made use of ABC NewsOne (Telstar 4 (C-Band/Ku-Band) & GSTAR4) for most of its satellite wildfeeds, as did the Allbritton stations (WCIV Charleston, KATV Little Rock, KTUL Tulsa, WHTM Harrisburg, WSET Lynchberg-Roanake, WJXX Jacksonsville etc...).

I also forgot to mention that KOMO 4 (ABC - Seattle), via Anik E2 (A2) was also carried as the PT24 west coast ABC affiliate on C-Band and DirecTV (DBS 1/2/3).
WSOC Charlotte was also part of the "NewsOne" affiliate feeds. plus KNXV 15 (ABC-PHX), KTVX 4 (ABC-SLC), WTAE 4 (ABC-PIT) and KGO 7 (ABC-SF) as well as KMGH 7 (ABC-DEN) was also being fed on Echostar 4 (E4). They also included the Denver stations which was previously limited to C-Band viewers and were previously on Echostar 3 (E3) before the launch of EC4.

WRTV Indianapolis, WSYX Columbus (?) and KERO Bakersfield as far as I know, were one of the affiliates that used the "NewsOne" affiliate services for their news feeds.

WPTY Memphis (WB secondary affiliation) also had a KU Truck as part of the SNG feeds (GSTAR4). ABSAT was the satellite newsgathering arm of ABC.
WMUR Manchester, NH, KMBC Kansas City, WISN Milwaukee, WPBF West Palm Beach, KOCO Oklahoma City, KOAT Alberqueque, KETV Omaha, WAPT Jackson, MS and KHBS/KHOG Ft. Smith also utilized "NewsONE" for their video feeds.

WVEC Norfolk/Hampton Roads, WJET Erie, and WWSB Sarasota also used "ABC NewsONE" for their regional feeds as well (but I'm not sure if they had feeds on Ku?, ABC feeds were mostly on T4 Ku & GSTAR4 (except for satellite newstruck feeds which were on SBS6), while the rest of them were on the C-Band side of T4, T5 and E2).

WVII Bangor, ME (?), WEWS Cleveland, WTVQ Lexington (?) and WGNO New Orleans also used "NewsONE" for their regional feeds (since the station was owned by Tribune they also fed their news feeds via CNN Newsource).

WOLO Columbia, SC (?), WFTS Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg, WKOW/WXOW Madison/La Crosse (?) were among the stations as well, so was KESQ Palm Springs, WOKR Rochester (?), WSYR Syracuse, NY, WZVN Naples/Fort Myers (?) and presumably KRCR Chico/Redding.
