The St. Louis Post says that the fox sports blackout on Dish, could be permanent, If you buy the MLB package does that include the region you are in, such Fox Midwest for my Cardinal games or is it just the out of market channels. I'm going to wait this out this season, but next season I may have to buy. I've gotten back to my old school days of listening to the games on radio.

Out of market only. You might want to consider Youtube TV.

BTW, I'm in LA to see the Cardinals play the Dodgers tonight :)

It’s the in market stuff they would black out.

So you either need to spoof your address move.

Speaking of moving. Does Dish have MLB extra innings and if so would you get all the out or market games ?
We do have EI. Usually we get the SD feeds provided by MLB EI for games on channels that Dish doesn't carry. For example, if the Mets were playing the Blue Jays, we'd see the game in SD from whatever feed was provided by the MLB.

"Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. CEO Chris Ripley expects the beginning of football season will help end some of the blackouts TV viewers across the U.S. may be experiencing as a result of several programming disputes within the industry."

everyone knows that these disputes are happening are gonna be resolved when the NFL & college football begins cause the NFL and NCAA (and the conferences) demand the networks to end the dispute ASAP.
