Dish dropping Fox Sports Detroit?

That's why I put "+" in my post... ;)
AND...I predict there WILL be a dispute with Sinclair next week...which means the ONLY local station left in our market (on BOTH D* & Uverse) WILL be NBC & our PBS's!

I'm going over Tuesday to consult with a client that's going to dump D* for Comcast when their contract is up on the 27th. Between all the local channels gone from D* & AT&T only offers 12meg DSL at their house & they need much more speed with 2 kids...so the only alternative IS Comcast internet. And since Comcast lowered their TV pricing to only $5 per box, & will give them the same price for 2 years, it was a no-brainer for them to switch to their double-play. Plus they want to try out the Comcast FREE Roku app, which can replace a cable box & they could even save more per month. (I'm not fond of it myself, much prefer the regular voice remote)

I don't want any "offers". I just wanna watch baseball for the last 6 weeks of the season or at the very least I'm going to drop the $170+ per month TV/internet package I have down to the bare minimum TV service. I have internet installed by Dish at my house and it's not reliable enough to use any chat features and I have terrible cell service where I live on top of that.

The only time my internet is even remotely stable is ~3am to 6am and I see the chat is available from 8am to midnight...the times where my internet is at it's worst.
