I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the cheap receivers from China with H.265?
I know there are two receivers that people like to use like to use
EDISION OS Mio 4k UHD HEVC H.265
Amiko Mini Hd265
.

Thanks

Many of the "cheap" receivers don't have the customization ability of the two you listed. Most of the "cheap" receivers also don't have the ability to add and edit user channels with custom audio/video PIDS.

They are kind of a "catch-22" Since they don't come with any support you have to know enough about this type of equipment to run it, so then you also know you don't really want it. But some folks have very limited needs and a very limited receiver is all they need. ;)

Does anyone know why the Edison for N. America is supplied with DVB-S2X and DVB-T2/C Τuners?
Are ATSC tuners other than external third party tuners not available from the factory?

The Edision was not developed for N A persay. There is only one model distributed world wide. The NA units may have software written for NA specifically but the same hardware. Since you can add several additional USB tuners there wasn't a need to develop a model for the US ATSC transmissions.
