You don't need to log into your Google account. Just follow the prompts until you've selected I Understand, then back out and the Assistant will still work, but not attached to your account

Just to be clear, do you click on "I Understand", or back out before?

So OK....I got my freebie Google Ass remote yesterday and it seems as if my favorite button of all time is unavailable. That button is SWAP. (the one that flips the whole screen between between what you are watching and what would be the PIP window). It is virtually instantaneous while "Recall" is not only slow, it wipes out your buffer! If I'm flipping between two games and I see where a team has scored, I can rewind up to an hour. And vice versa.

On the 40, there is a separate button that allows this. On the new remote I would place that command under one of the "diamond" buttons but it doesn't seem that "SWAP" is one of the options.

Am I doing it wrong?
Does someone have a solution?
TIA

If my memory is correct try the input button on the side.

Argh! How are we to intuit that? Am I the only one around here to prefers the 40?
Yea, the very small print that says press back to exit here or something like that.

All right which is it? The back button before I press "I Understand", or after I press "I Understand".
