FOX Dispute?

I found it. Yep FS2 is on channel 149 when it comes back someday.

I really think you would like Youtube TV. They also have your local channels and local PBS is coming soon (if it hasn't already):

It’s not. YouTube TV app is expected anytime on the amazon devices, but it’s not there currently.

Connect a laptop to your tv is possible and you can use the YouTubeTV trial thru the browser.

You could also just do a trial with one of the other streaming pay tv providers. I believe they all have fire tv compatible apps now. FuboTV, ATTNow, HuluLiveTv or PSVue.
I got the YouTube up and running from my 4K Firestick. I didn't see anything about it being a trail but it works.

OK, thanks. I am just not up to speed on all this streaming stuff. I have LG and Samsung smart TVs. I wonder if they can get FOX sports!

Maybe. Search for "Fox Sports Go" in the TV menu. Problem is, to use them, you still have to have a subscription to a major TV provider.

PS- A Youtube TV free trial would cover that ;)

Depending on the version of webOS on your LG tv, there is a YouTubeTV app in the webOS store (LG Content app). It works well on my newest LG4K with webOS4.13. It also works fine on my older office 4K LG tv with webOS 3.3.4

Edit: YouTubeTV and SlingTV are the only pay tv subscription apps for US viewers in the LG webOS store. The Fox sports app is on the Firetv, but of course needs a pay tv subscription to authenticate with.

Wait till Dish and Sinclair get into it over locals!:oldmad:oldmad:oldmad
Well they’re already into it with the former Fox RSN battle. I’m sure the locals are not far behind, Sinclair might have their services missing from half the nation if they drop locals from Directv/Uverse along with the RSNs on Dish. Wonder what their advertisers will think of that.
I am pretty sure Dish's dispute with the Sinclair locals was in 2015 (I remember being affected by that one) and then the contract was quietly renewed last year, judging by activity in the uplink reports. (Dish had removed the OTA guide mapping from the satellite-delivered feeds of the Sinclair stations, and uplinked separate guide data streams for the OTA versions instead. After awhile, Dish reversed these changes, which implies that a long-term deal was reached.) So, we may have quite awhile before the Dish/Sinclair locals contract comes up for renewal again. (2021 if the renewal was for three years like the previous time.)

You describe it like weathering a storm. Lol

While this doesn't fit me personally because I do watch the Cooking channels, but there are a bunch of folks out there that don't and don't want to pay for us to have them! ;)
I'll gladly pay 10 cents for you to watch your channel, but I won't pay $5 for an overpriced channel.

I get there is a dispute. Once again though we pay 100% of our bills - and DISH does not have the channels. Got it. There's a dispute. But we absolutely deserve a credit on our bills. DISH is not paying Fox. DISH is not paying Sinclair for the FSN channels. But the bills have not gone down one cent.

Each one of us is entitled to a credit for all of this. So tired of DISH pocketing the money they save. We are all getting hosed.

Is there a FOX dispute? I am at work and I went to DishPromise.com to see if NBC Sports Chicago was resolved, and now I see FOX is all over the place with no FS1, FS2, Big10 Network. Or is this forthcoming?
